Description:
Grown in the fertile, highlands of Uganda, Maraka coffee offers a distinct flavour that reflects the richness of East African coffee. Produced by smallholder farmers committed to quality, each batch reflects the unique character of Ugandan soil. Maraka coffee is known for its vibrant acidity, balanced body, refreshing mango flavours, tropical fruits and subtle floral notes.
Through Maraca’s unique farmer training programs, master farmers receive specialized training in agronomy, harvesting, and processing. These master farmers then guide small groups of farmers to ensure that only the ripest red cherries are picked and processed in meticulous ways. The coffee is slowly dried on raised beds, enhancing its natural sweetness and the complexity of its flavors.
The result is a clean, rich cup of flavor, with a bright, vibrant flavor profile—a true testament to the potential of specialty coffee from Uganda. With every sip of Maraka Coffee, you support a community-based approach that focuses on the quality and sustainability of agriculture.
